Heat Wave

This environmental exercise in solid geometry was featured as part of a “Climate Change” exhibition in Athens, NY. The symbolic angles, turns and reverses of the “wave” as it moves forward in time and space represent how our world’s climate appears to be changing.  It is constructed of recycled, weathered Corten® steel guardrails which were salvaged from a road reconstruction project. Approximately 12’ x 12’ x 10’ and weighing about one-half ton.

This piece has been sold, for more information contact me.
